Weather
During the dry season, which extends from December to March, Sri Lanka enjoys a delightful tropical climate that is perfect for a healing and yoga retreat. The weather during this time is characterized by clear skies, abundant sunshine, and comfortable temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F) in most regions.

Currency & Electricity
Exchange your currency to Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) prior to arriving or at the airport. In Sri Lanka, the standard electrical outlets primarily utilized are Type D and Type G sockets, operating at a voltage of 230V. Rest assured, adapters will be available for your convenience at the retreat.

Getting there
International flights are available from Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo.
As you embark on your healing and yoga retreat in Sri Lanka, you'll land at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) in Colombo, the island's gateway to peace and serenity. This modern airport offers excellent connectivity with major international hubs, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure.

Private transportation will be provided via a mini-van for up to 8 people round trip. The trip one-way takes about 1 hr 45 minutes.

Travelers need a travel authorization to visit Sri Lanka for Business or Tourism. Visa-exempt visitors entering Sri Lanka must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Travelers can submit the eTA application online. Once the application is approved, travelers receive their eTA confirmation electronically. An eTA is electronically linked to a passport and valid for up to 30 days. If travelers receive a new passport, they must apply for a new eTA. A valid eTA is required to board the flight. If the eTA is expired or doesn’t match the traveler’s passport information, travelers will not be able to board their flight. You can apply for this using the link provided. Apply here
