YOUR PERSONAL TRAVEL ADVISOR
Leaving behind a healthcare career, I now take immense pleasure in exploring new places and fully experiencing their unique vibes. The name "Pura Vida" originates from cherished memories in Costa Rica, a place that left a lasting impact on me. As a travel advisor, my career blends seamlessly with my desire to discover, organize, and help people explore new destinations.
Outside of my work as an advisor, my life has various aspects. I'm a mom to three grown kids, so I get the ins and outs of family travel. At home, we have a lively cat and my husband, who's really into aviation. Our shared love for travel sparks exciting journeys that embrace cultures worldwide.
This journey reminds me how stepping into the unknown can be truly transformative. Each place I visit reinforces my commitment to crafting meaningful travel experiences for others.
WHY USE A TRAVEL ADVISOR
When you DIY anything in life, you take on risks. Sometimes it's a calculated risk because the consequences (if anything goes wrong) are minimal.
Other things, the risk is too high - medical procedures, home renovations, educating your children, and even cutting your own hair.
Planning travel, especially out of the country, is something that should also be left to qualified and professional experts.
My favorite destination: So far Italy and Portugal are at the top of the list. They both have so much history, great food, and I can't get enough of exploring the ancient ruins.
What's at the top of my wanderlist? A trip to Egypt to see the pyramids.
My next travel experience is a pasta cooking class in Italy with a local chef.
Am I a window or isle girl? Window of course because you get the best views on the airplane.
What's in my carry-on? Everything from my laptop to my noise-canceling headset to a few snacks to nibble on to pass the time.
