Itinerary

Days 1-2 Fly over Costa Rica's valleys and mountains to San Isidro Bike past lush green hillsides, fertile farmland and historic sugarcane plantations on the flanks of Cerro Chirripó, Costa Rica's highest mountain Watch for white-faced monkeys, butterflies and countless species of birds in a private biological reserve Spend the afternoon however you choose: relax at the spa, enjoy a mountain biking excursion or go horseback riding.

Day 3 Hike through a rain forest to one of Costa Rica's most picturesque waterfalls Get an inside look into life in the rural village of Santo Domingo in the Savegre River Valley Kick back on your private deck in our blissfully secluded safari jungle lodge.

Day 4 Make a splash during a thrilling white-water rafting excursion on Río Savegre Spot a wealth of wildlife with a local naturalist in Manuel Antonio National Park, from monkeys and lizards to iguanas and butterflies Enjoy a toucan's-eye view during a scenic flight to the Nicoya Peninsula Luxuriate at remote Hotel Punta Islita, an Andrew Harper favorite and heavenly tropical escape.

Days 5-6 Time by the pool, at the spa or on a surfboard? Up to you!
